The plain-English version
We need a small amount of information to run the website and answer an enquiry. We do not turn your visit into a free-for-all. You decide whether we may also use optional functional preferences, analytics or campaign-measurement technology.
If you decline those optional categories, the public site still works. If you later change your mind, you can update your choice without having to explain yourself.
Cookies & campaign measurement
Essential technology
We use the minimum technology needed to run the site securely and remember your cookie choice. That preference is stored for up to six months, so we do not keep asking you the same question.
Optional functional preferences
If you choose functional preferences, Wix may remember non-essential site experience preferences. This category is off until you choose it.
Optional analytics
If you choose analytics, we may use Wix and any other named analytics provider to understand broad patterns such as pages viewed, referral source, device type and country. This helps us keep the site useful. Analytics data may be processed by the provider that supplies the measurement service.
Optional campaign measurement
When we run social or search campaigns, we may use optional cookies, pixels or tags to understand whether an advert led to a useful visit or enquiry. These tools can help us measure campaign performance, limit repeat adverts and improve where we spend our budget.
We will not switch on an optional provider until you actively choose the relevant category. Wix is the optional site-measurement provider currently named in the choice panel. Before we add any further analytics or campaign provider, we will name it there and keep this policy updated with what it does. If a provider processes personal data, its own privacy information will also apply.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details or treat them as a marketing product.
- We do not set optional advertising or campaign-measurement technology before you choose it.
- We do not block the public site because you refuse optional cookies.
- We do not add you to a mailing list unless you explicitly ask.
Suppliers we use
Our website is hosted through Wix, and Wix processes consultation form submissions, under its applicable data-processing terms. If we add a database, email provider or another service that processes personal data, we will name the relevant provider here and keep this notice up to date.
Optional analytics or campaign suppliers are not hidden in the small print: we will identify any active provider in the choice panel before its optional technology is used. This is where that list will be maintained as campaigns are introduced.
Retention
Enquiries are kept while relevant to a live or potential engagement and reviewed annually. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by UK tax and company law (normally six years). The cookie that remembers your preferences lasts up to six months. Any optional provider has its own documented retention settings, which we review before it is used.
